1984
Began in construction
Started working in construction at 18, running jobs, estimating, scheduling subcontractors, and overseeing builds alongside her then-husband.
1992
Started her own remodeling business
After her divorce, launched a remodeling business in Pennsylvania. Built on honesty and integrity. 98% of the work came from repeat clients and referrals.
2006
Became a Certified Inspector
Made the transition from builder to inspector, pairing 22 years of hands-on construction knowledge with formal inspection training.
2008
Multi-inspector firm in PA
Joined a multi-inspector firm in Pennsylvania to weather the economic downturn. Learned the inspection business from some of the best inspectors in the region. Earned PA-certified radon tester credentials.
2015
Returned to Florida
Moved back to Florida and joined a multi-inspector firm in Manatee County. Continued building expertise in Florida-specific construction and insurance inspections.
2018
Certified Thermographer
Earned Certified Thermographer credentials, adding thermal imaging to her toolkit for finding hidden moisture, missing insulation, and electrical hot spots.
2019
Joined High Tide
Joined High Tide Home Inspections as an inspector.
2020
Took ownership
Took over High Tide Home Inspections, running it as the owner-operator she still is today.
2022
Expanded thermal imaging
Built out thermal imaging as a dedicated service, giving clients a deeper diagnostic option for moisture, insulation, and electrical issues.
